It’s that time again! Join us on Facebook and Instagram as we spotlight a different Chamber member each week in our #MemberMonday series. Today we are happy to spotlight The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts! 🎉 Cobre Valley Center for the Arts is set inside the old Gila County Courthouse of 1906, at the heart of Globe’s historic downtown district. Since 1984, this non-profit organization has continued to restore and rejuvenate this architectural treasure while showcasing local artists on their main gallery floor, presenting community theater in the historic courtroom, and offering classes and other events to the public year round. The Center also boasts a beautiful gift shop with jewelry, books, pottery, prints from featured artists and more. 🎭 CVCA is currently featuring the works of Patty Sjolin, as well as the the Copper Country Quilters. Their 40th Annual Quilt Show runs through the end of the month, and on Saturday, March 7, 2020 you can enjoy a combined artist reception for both Patty Sjolin and the Quilters starting at 6:00 pm. 🧵 Do you have friends/family visiting? Appreciate the arts? Obsessed with architecture? History buff? Visit the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts! As Globe-Miami’s hub for fine arts, music, and theater arts, this is the place to soak in our local culture, history and skill! There is no admission fee, although donations are greatly appreciated and welcomed. 🎨 Open daily from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and from noon to 4:00 pm on Sundays. The Center for the Arts is located at 101 N. Broad Street, Globe, AZ 85501. 🎭 Come to take in a beautiful exhibit, and leave feeling in awe of the exquisite and intricate work living right here in Globe-Miami! You’ll be blown away with all the local talent showcased at CVCA.
