Holiday Events

The Christmas Light Parade continues the annual “lighting of Globe” on December 10 at 6 p.m. Residents throughout the Globe-Miami area participate with organizations, businesses, families, clubs and more putting together incredible parades, performances and more. Gather in downtown Globe with your favorite cup of holiday cheer from Bernard’s Coffee Station Café or Vida e Caffé, and let the holiday spirit entertain you.

On December 6, check out The Goode Time Carolers a cappella group perform their yearly Christmas song edition. Embracing a Dickens-era styling, these carolers have been featured at Disneyland and on a number of television shows. Tickets are available through the Chamber of Commerce site online or at the local White Porch Antique Shop or Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center.

A (Desert) Winter Wonderland

You won’t get snow in Globe, but for those who prefer a warmer holiday season, there are plenty of events and festivals to go around. Our Lady’s Holiday House features holiday crafts at a series of booths, hosted by Our Lady’s St. Vincent de Paul. The indoor holiday house is the perfect place to pick up ornaments, Christmas crafts and keepsakes.

Many locals compete for the best holiday lights, and strolling through neighborhoods with treats from Copper Bistro will swiftly bring you into the holiday spirit. Who knew the holidays in the desert could be so incredible?
