Expect to see all of your favorite fair foods, like corndogs, chili cheese fries, and cotton candy, and you’ll also see our Arizona twist. Enjoy delicious cheesecake filling in an ice cream cone after a plate of mouthwatering ribs, or try a spicy street taco, southwestern style! Icy lemonade is the perfect way to cool down after a day in the hot sun, and you’ll find it at nearly every beverage stand!
Entertainment
The fair always has plenty to do, from midway games and rollercoasters to shopping for handmade items, like decorative rocks painted with Native designs or handcrafted jewelry. Watch the cowboys compete for a trophy at the rodeo, or if you want to test your own skills, take a spin on the mechanical bull. Animal lovers will have plenty to see between the horse show, dog show, and the wildlife rescue encounter. The real highlight, however, will be the blow-up race, where contestants don blow-up costumes and try to outrun the others – it’s hilarious as they try to combat the aerodynamic failure of their oversized outfit. Don’t forget to take some time to enjoy live music, from artists like Waterloo Revival or country artist Shari Rowe.
